Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 GT berwajah baru!

Mitsubishi Malaysia telah melancarkan Mitsubishi Lancer 2.o GT dengan wajah baru. Masih lagi dengan enjin dan transmisi yang sama dengan model sebelum ini. Apa yang terbaru pada model ini adalah dari segi sistem audio dan kemasan luaran kereta dengan body kit baru. Harga yang ditawarkan juga meningkat Rm 2 ribu daripada harga model terdahulu. Hanya 3 warna yang ditawarkan iaitu white solid, black mica dan red metallic. Harga atas jalan yang ditawarkan tanpa insurans adalah Rm 120,598.10.

Ferrari baru dengan 570 kuasa kuda..

Ferrari baru ini dikuasakan oleh enjin baru 4.5 L enjin V8 yang menghasilkan 570 hp secara kasarnya pada 9000rpm. Tork yang dihasilkan oleh kereta ini agak tinggi untuk kereta dengan saiz enjin begini. Kereta ini juga menggunakan transmisi baru dengan 7 kelajuan kluc F1. Kelajuan tertinggi yang dicapai oleh kereta ini adalah 325 km/j dalam masa 3.4 saat untuk mencapai pecutan dari 0-100 km/j. Penggunaan minyak kereta ini juga tidak la mesra pengguna, 13.7 L untuk 100 km tetapi itu sudah cukup baik untuk kereta super begini.

Siapa-siapa yang berhajat, berharap la agar Naza World dapat membawa masuk sebiji dua kereta ini ke Malaysia.

Toyota Camry dengan wajah baru

Toyota akan memperkenalkan Toyota Camry dengan bodykit baru tidak lama. Tempahan sudah boleh di buat di semua pusat jualan Toyota. Antara ciri tambahan baru yang diperkenalkan adalah sistem menghidupkan enjin tanpa kunci. Harga yang ditawarkan oleh UMW Malaysia adalah seperti berikut :

Felipe Massa eksiden!

Kemalangan yang menimpa Massa sewaktu hari penentuan petak permulaan semalam (25 Julai) amat la tidak di sangka-sangka. Seketul spring seberat 800 gram yang telah terkeluar dari kereta Barrichello sejurus sebelum selekoh ke-4 telah mengenai helmet Massa lalu menyebabkan beliau pengsan selama 2 saat lalu beliau hilang kawalan dan merempuh tembok tayar di hujung selekoh dengan kelajuan tinggi. Keadaan itu sudah cukup untuk menyebabkan tengkorak beliau retak, dan meninggalkan luka yang dalam di keningnya.

Bayangkan objek seberat 800 gram bergerak pada kelajuan 200km/j...apa impak yang boleh dilakukan oleh objek itu jika terkena pada sesuatu...helmet rekaan baru telah menyelamatkan Massa dari kecederaan lebih teruk. Semoga beliau dapat kembali sihat dan berlumba seperti dulu...

Proton Saga EV

Proton kebelakangan ini telah menghasilkan beberapa konsep kereta yang menarik perhatian ramai. Terbaru adalah Proton Saga BLM yang telah diubahsuai sistem janaan tenaganya daripada minyak kepada tenaga elektrik. Kereta konsep ini yang telah dipertontonkan di UPM tempoh hari telah membuka mata orang ramai bahawa Proton kini telah maju seiring dengan dunia permotoran hari ini yang mana tenaga alternatif selain minyak telah mendapat tempat untuk dimajukan.

Kereta ini tidak menghasilkan sebarang pencemaran seperti kereta konvensional yang lain kerana kereta ini dijana dengan tenaga elektrik sepenuhnya. Motor elektrik berkuasa 125kW(168hp) digunakan untuk menggerakkan Saga EV ini dengan transmisi 5 kelajuan. Motor in digerakkan dengan kuasa elektrik yang tersimpan di dalam bateri yang di simpan di dalam bonet belakang.

Menurut Proton, kereta konsep ini dapat memecut dari 0-100 km/j dalam masa 10.1s. Kelajuan tertinggi yang dicatatkan sewaktu ujian adalah 161km/j. Jarak perjalanan untuk bateri cas penuh adalah 109km. Seperti kereta-kereta elektrik dari syarikat automotif tersohor dunia, kereta konsep Proton ini juga dilengkapi dengan sistem janaan tenaga brek untuk mengecas semula bateri. Soket untuk mengecas dari rumah juge ada disediakan.

Semoga kereta konsep ini dapat dipertingkatkan lagi terutamanya dari segi tempat simpanan bateri kerana terlalu banyak ruang sehingga penuh bonet. Mungkin teknologi daripada Tesla Motor yang telah menghasilkan kereta sport elektrik boleh dipelajari.

not really new because its no more different compare to VVT technology~
just the way Fiat manipulate the VVT working process~

Open Letter to Barack Hussein Obama President-elect of the United States of America by Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad (former malaysian prime minister)

Dear Mr. President,

I did not vote for you in the Presidential Election because I am Malaysian.

But I consider myself one of your constituents because what you do or say will affect me and my country as well.

I welcome your promise to change. Certainly your country, the United States of America need a lot of changes.

That is because America and Americans have become the best hated people in the world. Even Europeans dislike your arrogance. Yet you were once admired and liked because you freed a lot of countries from conquest and subjugation.

It is the custom on New Year's day for people to make resolutions. You must have listed your good resolutions already. But may I politely suggest that you also resolve to do the following in pursuit of Change.

1) Stop killing people. The United States is too fond of killing people in order to achieve its objectives. You call it war, but today's wars are not about professional soldiers fighting and killing each other. It is about killing people, ordinary innocent people by the hundreds of thousands. Whole countries will be devastated.

War is primitive, the cavemen's way of dealing with a problem. Stop your arms build up and your planning for future wars.

2) Stop indiscriminate support of Israeli killers with your money and your weapons. The planes and the bombs killing the people of Gaza are from you.

3) Stop applying sanctions against countries which cannot do the same against you.

In Iraq your sanctions killed 500,000 children through depriving them of medicine and food. Others were born deformed.

What have you achieved with this cruelty? Nothing except the hatred of the victims and right-thinking people.

4) Stop your scientists and researchers from inventing new and more diabolical weapons to kill more people more efficiently.

5) Stop your arms manufacturers from producing them. Stop your sales of arms to the world. It is blood money that you earn. It is un-Christian.

6) Stop trying to democratize all the countries of the world. Democracy may work for the United States but it does not always work for other countries.

Don't kill people because they are not democratic. Your crusade to democratize countries has killed more people than the authoritarian Governments which you overthrew. And you have not succeeded anyway.

7) Stop the casinos which you call financial institutions. Stop hedge funds, derivatives and currency trading. Stop banks from lending non-existent money by the billions.

Regulate and supervise your banks. Jail the miscreants who made profits from abusing the system.

8) Sign the Kyoto Protocol and other international agreements.

9) Show respect for the United Nations.

I have many other resolutions for change which I think you should consider and undertake.

But I think you have enough on your plate for this 2009th year of the Christian Era.

If you can do only a few of what I suggest you will be remembered by the world as a great leader. Then the United States will again be the most admired nation. Your embassies will be able to take down the high fences and razor-wire coils that surround them.

May I wish you a Happy New Year and a great Presidency.
